Run For the Border!

overcast 20 °C

I crossed my first border today when I passed from Maine to New Hampshire, it was then followed very shortly by my second when I passed from New Hampshire to Massachusetts. What a thrill! I kept my eyes peeled out the windows of the train to catch any fugitives who actually were fleeing to the border with police and Fox News SkyCam in chase, but no such luck. I say it was a thrill, I really didn't have a clue what was going on.

So yes, I'm now in Boston, the capital of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It's a beautiful city and is very chilled out. There are student everywhere and I've met a load of people just in the hostel and walking around. People are very happy to chat. Boston has ten universities, the most famous being Havard and MIT. I'm already looking forward to cycling over to Cambridge (on the other side of the Charles River) and spending the day as an Oxbridge reject over there at Harvard.

Not much more to report as I've only been here for a few hours. Needless to say there will be more in the days ahead.

PS. I'm getting a few questions about photos. I'm not sure how to upload them at the moment. I'm not shooting in JPegs, but as Raw files, which are digital negatives. When I figure it out, which willl probably be sometime in September, I will let you know.
